Whole Flower

The fasting growing segment of the domestic Medicinal Cannabis market, Whole Flower refers to the dried “buds”, which can be consumed via a dry herb vaporiser or through traditional means of smoking cannabis (please note: doctor’s recommendation is to also use a TGA approved vaporiser).  While CBD dominant Whole Flower is available, it is generally THC dominant and most often prescribed for those with previous cannabis experience.

There are countless Whole Flower strains that delivery slightly different effects on the consumer.  As part of Elevated Extracts #EqualAccess program, we are committed to providing the best strain globally available at prices consistent with those on the unregulated, illegal black-market, illuminating the pathway to high quality medicines for all Australians.

Regardless of one’s experience with cannabis, there are generally three factors that deem oils more appealing for patients;

  • Aversion to Inhalation
  • Dosage Management
  • Discrete Consumption

This is especially true for THC consumers, given the requirement to more closely manage dosage; too little and the full efficacy will not be achieved, too much and one can experience some of the more negative effects of THC, including confusion, fatigue and panic.  As such, for those looking to avoid the inhalation method, command a tighter management of dosage or implement a more discrete delivery system, oil is a preferred option.

Balanced Oil & Full Spectrum CBD

Full Spectrum products refer to those that contain full cannabis plant extracts, including a plethora of terpenes, essential oils, cannabinoids and flavonoids.

A “Balanced” medicine generally refers to Medicinal Cannabis products that have a rich THC and CBD content of similar qualities, along with the additional compounds.  Whereas full spectrum “CBD” products contain a similar range of compounds, but is limited to a maximum of 0.3% THC, the cannabinoid in the cannabis plant that produces the ‘high’ feeling in people.  Some people prefer full spectrum to achieve the Entourage Effect, a phenomenon where cannabinoids act synergistically with each other to amplify the overall effects.

CBD Isolate

Unlike Full Spectrum CBD products, CBD Isolate does not contain any THC (the psychoactive component of cannabis) making it incredibly easy to measure exact dosages. As such, it is a preferred derivative of the cannabis plant for those users who are unable to use THC.

This may be due to workplace testing (i.e. mine workers), regular drivers or professional athletes subject to WADA testing.  It is often used for patient looking to support the treatment of anxiety, insomnia, chronic pain, endometriosis, chemo induced nausea and inflammation in its many forms.
